ACDSee Photo Editor 6

ACDSee 6

Short Review..

ACDSee Photo Editor 6 is effective, easy-to-use photo editing software that lets you enhance and improve your photographs with professional-grade tools. With this software you can fix overexposed and underexposed images, apply filters and effects, and restore old or damaged photos.

You don’t have to worry about learning how to use this image editing software, thanks to the handy built-in “How-To” guides. These guides take you step by step through common editing procedures such as color and lighting adjustments, opening and placing a photo in the workspace, and more. The user interface is simple to navigate, and all tools are easy to find.

With this software you edit in a non-destructive environment, applying all changes and edits to a copy of your original photo and keeping the original safe and intact. This lets you experiment and try out all the editing tools of ACDSee Photo Editor 6 without fear of losing your precious memories.

One of ACDSee’s most powerful and useful tools is its patented LCE tool. LCE stands for Lighting and Contrast Enhancement, and it does exactly what its name implies. Many times your photos suffer from poor lighting and either end up too dark or blown out with overexposure. With the LCE tool, you can give those disappointing photos a second chance. This tool uses sliders for easy adjustment of brightness, contrast and fill light. You can tweak to your heart’s content until you get the perfect mix of shadows, midtones and highlights. You can also choose to use automatic presets to your photos.

Not only can you make your photos look fabulous, you can apply artistic filters and effects to give them a retro, artistic or modern look. You can also create shapes, add text and borders as well as make collages. Unfortunately, this software does not have the capability to make panoramas out of your photos, and it does not correct lens distortions.
ACDSee Photo Editor 6 is compatible with RAW format pictures as well as all popular and common file formats. This allows you to open files created in other programs such as Photoshop, PaintShop Pro and MS Paint. You can save your files in one of 15 popular file formats, including GIF, JPG, TIF and PNG.

ACDSee Photo Editor 6 comes with 2GB of free cloud storage for your photos, and additional space can be purchased for an additional fee. This free storage doubles as an online photo gallery that your friends and family can access to view your photos, albums or slideshows. This is a great sharing feature that makes it easy to showcase your best work to clients or let faraway relatives see what your family has been up to. You can also upload your albums as email attachments or share on Facebook and Twitter.

If you ever have a question or concern about how to use this program or if you experience technical difficulties, you can contact a friendly customer service representative by phone or email. You can also get answers from fellow ACDSee Photo Editor users in the community forums and pick up some helpful hints on how to make your images even better.
